Have been using it for a year now. Its good, like it a lot. Mightn't be for everyone (i.e. those who prefer long form text), there is a closed-source alternative called ObsidianMD (which is also very good)

You just can't look away

Don't even get me started on the left back pocket ...

I don't know now. The DIYs I've seen mainly just use hot glue and ice pop sticks

Perfect! Let them burn. They are inadvertently growing the fediverse at an accelerated rate!

I wouldn't say it's dead (yet), and if it does die I'm gonna guess it'll be a slow gradual death.

Its just my speculation, but Reddit is gonna try do whatever they can to stay afloat (even if everyone leaves). They're already restoring deleted posts/comments. Next I'm guessing they'll flood Reddit with bots (bot users, bot posters, etc). Anything to appear "alive"

But regardless, I'm not going back to Reddit, so at least to me, its dead.

Ah yes, the face I make when implementing the "features" the users demanded

My "why" comments:

// This is here because if I remove it, the whole server panics, no idea why. So don't delete it.

Yeah, I'm the same, used to just lurk on Reddit. But with Lemmy trying to engage with the communities a bit more. Its actually quite nice, a small sense of camaraderie as people try to encourage everyone else to contribute.

That and since Lemmy is open source and federated, I feel more comfortable here than Reddit

Well, considering he's burning his own arm in the image, I already know what his Intelligence stat would be
