Perhaps, comically, it is the perfect representation of the world as it is now: “knowledge” in people’s brains is created by consuming whatever source aligns with the beliefs that they think are theirs. No source or facts are required. Only the interpretation matters.

You’d be surprised. I read about this s couple of years ago and when I got a new company iPhone 2 years ago I started doing the 80%. I’d charge it while chilling in th evenings and after a couple of weeks you just “know” when it hits 80%. Like when you set your alarm to 3:40am to catch that fucking 6am flight and you wake up at 3:38am

After two years my phone’s max capacity is at 95%+. No idea what it means, no idea if it matters but I did it and that’s that.

Are you saying that Microsoft shouldn’t pour a ton of money into valuable threat research? Are you also suggesting that they shouldn’t have poured billions into security (independently from OS level) in the last 6 years? Or are you suggesting they should exit the security industry completely so for example CrowdStrike can be the undisputed EDR leader that no one can challenge and as such no need to improve due to the lack of competition that the likes of CB or SentinelOne can’t put up?

When you stopped being edgy just pick one for me please.

For the rest of you, whatever you think of MSFT, I’d rather they continue pouring billions into security research. Because even if it’s coming from them, it matters….

Make sure you are doing a better job with item descriptions than them.

I only deal with garment retailers that do free returns including free shipping. They omit exact measurements (sleeve, shoulder, chest, waist, body, close up shots of fabric etc) so I order several sizes and keep the ones that fit.

Some are really good at it and I never have to return anything (e.g., Asket)
