Thanks, from now on I'm just going to lie

I unfortunately don't have any sources, but a few years ago I read or watched a video about an interview with a paleontologist who was asked about their opinion of the first sign of civilization

Their answer was "a fossil of a skeleton with a broken and healed leg"

Every other animal dies with a broken leg in nature, the only way to survive is with the support of others

It's not about left or right, it's about socialism or liberalism

If calling yourself a leftist makes you feel better, feel free to do so, but don't get angry when people call out your actual position

Yeah, thankfully the modern ones are usually pretty easy to clean, I remember searching through configs for variations of the fake search engine

It's honestly impressive how many ways there are to hide those just in the browser's configs

The old search engine hijackers were honestly the worst malware I had to deal with somewhat regurarly

Anything more serious either cleaned up with malwarebytes or warranted reformatting the hard drive, but the hijackers were relatively easy but annoying and tedious to get rid off

For ad hoc transfers, easiest way is to pack it with 7zip (or any other compression software with proper encryption) and setting a proper password for the file

The funniest solution I've found was a service that offered secure transfer of passwords between devices through their "encrypted transmission" with a password field on their website

FYI, don't give any password to a service you aren't using with that service
