Go get blown up by a mine in kursk to build Putin another palace, you dumb fucking Russian.

Hurrr durrr people are discriminating against me just because I started the first land war in Europe for no reason.

Jesus Christ, it's becoming increasingly obvious that Russia's best minds have either left or been been shreded by FPV drones.

Nope. It's a factual statement since Russia invaded Europe, raped and murdered its citizens en masse, and chose to remove itself from the world order, Europe, and being a nation deserving of anything other than disgust and distain.

There are lots of skills to learn from literature.

Russians would "think" that all Slavs are Russian.

To directly quote Linus:

Ok, lots of Russian trolls out and about.

It's entirely clear why the change was done, it's not getting reverted, and using multiple random anonymous accounts to try to "grass root" it by Russian troll factories isn't going to change anything.

And FYI for the actual innocent bystanders who aren't troll farm accounts - the "various compliance requirements" are not just a US thing.

If you haven't heard of Russian sanctions yet, you should try to read the news some day. And by "news", I don't mean Russian state-sponsored spam.

As to sending me a revert patch - please use whatever mush you call brains. I'm Finnish. Did you think I'd be supporting Russian aggression? Apparently it's not just lack of real news, it's lack of history knowledge too.

Posting messages that make progressive people apathetic about the state of the electoral system right before an election, is literally equivalent to actively campaigning for the less progressive option. It is straight up an anti-democratic tactic frequently used by Republicans to lower democratic voter turnout.

Dude I am European, and definitely not Republican,

Russia is not part of Europe, so if you're actually from Europe, learn to stay in your lane and not try to influence a foreign election, if you are Russian, go fuck yourself and stop trying to influence a foreign election.

Lmao, bruh, I didn't insult you, I pointed out how unselfreflective what you said was using satire.

It's meant to prompt self reflection, not to insult, though for some, self reflection is inherently insulting.

Shut the fuck up with this Republican trash.

I've never been in, nor contemplated the possible existence of, a situation where picking the less bad option was infinitely better than picking the most bad option.

Jesus Christ, grow the fuck up.

Could I possibly be missing the intended message or callously drifting through life without ever genuinely empathasizing and connecting with the highs and lows of the human experience?

...

No, it's the entire history of human storytelling that must be wrong.

Eh, seems like a dumb quasi smart meta marketing move. See sales slipping amongst the older crowd, change the name of their favourite childhood snack to something stupid to get people talking about it and thinking about it, now suddenly they're buying them when they see them on the shelf again.

It will almost certainly work, and yet people still think that free will exists and that we're vastly more intelligent than our pets when we trick them into eating.

I'd like to think it's a user benefit, but I mean, historically.... it wont't be. (Yes they claim it's encrypted, but I don't trust Meta one bit to still not have some way to use this data for their benefit.)

Eh, I would actually believe this is purely user driven. Their solution doesn't sound like it will work differently in Europe vs the rest of the world, and if their claims about it being encrypted and only user accessible are true, there is fundamentally no benefit to them from a data harvesting stand point.

They also face a lot of competition in the messaging space, moreso than any of their other apps, which will generally incentivize them to be more user focused.
