Why has [#Strava](https://mas.to/tags/Strava) not embraced [#ActivityPub](https://mas.to/tags/ActivityPub)? It doesn't seem like at all a stretch to have the private/followers-only/everyone model map in c/fediverse@lemmy.ml

@osma @fediverse those companyies do love their walled gardens.
Garmin is famous for building limited penetration walls.
I need a tool to make my fitness details portable.
