Yep, passive income isn't passive. The value is being produced by someone somewhere, just not by you. It's profiting off stolen surplus labor value from someone else.
I love technology connection videos. He overexplains the minutiae of everything he covers and I love it.
After shooting the shit for the customary 5 min, it's usually
- Talking about efforts to mentor junior devs on the team. How they're doing, etc
- Catching my manager up on convos and meetings they missed recently
- Them explaining some new system or codebase I haven't worked with yet
- some sort of HR thing (Raises, PTO, performance reviews, etc)
Seconded. It downloads metadata, thumbnails, and comments too. Also has a browser extension that adds a download button into YouTube to trigger downloads on the server.
