Yes, I just feel more productive being able to navigate with the mouse, quickly scan and jump between files. Having a full vi session for editing would be awesome. The plugin is pokey though, so I stopped using it, ymmv.

Personally I feel you'll learn a lot more practical skills by just doing it on your own and on the job. FAANG companies do hire without masters, you just need the experience and be able to show it in interviews.

Well why not visual code + neovim, there's a plugin for that!

Cool. The formatting is messed up on my server but I can see it in the original. I do wonder if this approach could work for k8s traefik ingress.
