Only Beehaw defederated. The problem today is that lemmy.world is upgrading to 18.1 and it hasn't been going to smoothly. The server has been restarted a ton lately.

It's a shame registration is so difficult right now when this is the perfect storm to get people to switch to Lemmy.

The LDP has never had opposition leaders arrested. Just because they are popular doesn't mean that they aren't anti-democratic. Democracy requires free elections, which cannot exist if a significant minority is being actively suppressed.
This is already a huge problem for me. A lot of accounts have the names of former IT admins that left 5 years ago and no one has bothered to update contact info with some of our suppliers. We are getting better at it now but I'm still finding more accounts that no one seems to know we have.
I enjoy playing it, but even completely new players can see that ravens are overpowered and there is very little interaction.

I think Pop OS is a great place to start. I haven't personally used it but Linux Mint is commonly recommended to people who have only used windows before, it tries to have a similar UI experience.
Linux can do most things windows can, except it's free. The best thing about Linux is the depositories, unlike windows you rarely download apps from the Internet, instead you can download them from a repository. In Pop OS it's called Pop shop, it's different depending on which OS you are using.
Fallout 4 was good but is almost 8 years old now, at this point I would worry that the talent that made of their hit games up to Skyrim has mostly left or retired. 76 is their most recent game was a huge flop with massive technical problems, why should we trust that starfield will be different?
Diablo 2 is amazing. The remaster is fantastic, it does not feel like a 20 year old game.
