I am somewhat in between amazed and terrified. Amazed, that the bomb somehow still worked, terrified because in Europe there are a lot of them left. Never ever thought that they could still explode.

And everyone just keeps watching.

I do think that there are Scientists who like programming. What I would see as a hurdle is that this would be a rather big project, so you will have to ask a lot of people. And generally many people would have to be convinced to use this system. A little bit like social Networks: If noone uses it, it is not interesting.

Nice, I am really curious what becomes of this.

I feel this picture so hard.

I think in the city where everything happened she is still kinda famous and even some diary-brand is named like her. Also heard she has a statue somewhere in Wuppertal.

So basically they developed nothing exactly new, but went back to the roots. The article mentions:

"The development of a new fossil-free iron product (sponge iron) that has significantly better properties than iron reduced with fossil gases[...]"

So i looked up sponge Iron. Wiki writes:" Producing sponge iron and then working it was the earliest method used to obtain iron in the Middle East, Egypt, and Europe, where it remained in use until at least the 16th century."

I was also curious which properties are meant, but only found them for wrought Iron, which is made from sponge Iron, because sponge Iron itself can not be used. Also Wiki: "Wrought iron is tough, malleable, ductile, corrosion resistant, and easily forge welded, but is more difficult to weld electrically."

So in sum they went back to OG ironmaking and now seem to have higher quality stuff. Very nice.

This really should be more in the news, for all the "but we can't protect the environment this much, we have to look out for the Economy and keep it running!"

Wonder how, with people simply dying.

Had to look the car accident up. I mean that both are killed sounds suspicious, but in case it was by revenge it was planned very well. At least bbc wrote that the women which caused the car accident even stayed at the scene, so no hit and run. And my two cents regarding the Yacht are that even if it was a big boat, I would never underestimate the power of really, really shitty weather (Wasn't even a waterspoute mentioned somewere?).

Which will probably be never.

No more nomadic lifestyle following herds around, simply stay home. Grow wheat and beat the shit out of it after it's harvested.
