With great difficulty.

Because President Vance/VP Johnson sounds so much better.

In related news:

“We will drain the government education swamp and stop the abuse of your taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate America’s youth with all sorts of things that you don’t want to have our youth hearing,” Trump said.

Go outside and listen when the snow is falling. It makes everything quieter and it's really ice to hear.

Somehow that typo works in this context. Ice.

Snow that's warmed slightly then frozen again is crunchy and fun to walk on.

It's "ice" to walk on.

Jokes aside, thank you so much for the information. I don't live where it snows but I learned a lit about how to survive if I ever need to. Thanks again.

What is the correct pronunciation of our?

It's commonly pronounced the same way as "hour."

Ow-er. Ow, as in ouch.

Failed numerous fact checks. Do you have a more reputable source you can cite?

[–] irreticent@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Are you admitting that you will only accept news from sources that agree with your political views?

I'm not the person you responded to, but I prefer my news sources to not fail fact checks, push propaganda, and spread conspiracy theories.

Do you know how stupid that is?

Literal NPC behavior.

You even use the dehumanizing rhetoric that extreme right people are using in order to make it easier to see them as less than human.

Did you even take time to read the article and consider what it says before rejecting it?

Why would anyone trust them after they've failed numerous fact checks? You're literally trusting an outlet that's pushing fake news.

Just curious as a non US citizen: why do you believe Trump is better than Kamala? Just objectively curious.

I don't think they believe that at all. My guess is that they feel the opposite way.

My bad, I didn't notice it was someone else.

My point still stands that it's weird that you keep announcing you're blocking someone. You do it a lot.

[–] irreticent@lemmy.world -2 points 5 days ago (2 children)

As an aside, I've never understood why people announce they're blocking someone, unsubscribing, etc. Nobody cares except you. What's even more weird is when someone claims "I'm blocking you" then keeps arguing with that person.

Example:

So once again you just ignore the "branding" issue. I'm blocking you since you obviously have some sort of agenda and don't engage in good faith. Good day.

And here you are two hours later still responding to the person you "blocked."

For someone being so pedantic about the definition and misuse of a word you seem to be doing the same thing you're complianing about: using a word to be misleading.

Blocking means you don't engage with that user in any way anymore. You mislead us into believing you were going to block someone (as weird as that is to announce it) and continue to debate that person.

I have no opinions on the debate you're having, I just felt the need to point out your hypocrisy.

They're canvassing for a known scammer. I don't see why anyone's surprised that they themselves are scammers too.

In particular, they raised concerns about canvassers’ submitting an inordinate amount of suspect data. That data, some of which NBC News has reviewed, includes entries submitted far from the home or while canvassers are logged into Wi-Fi networks — telltale signs that a door was not knocked on, sources said. In addition, a video explaining how to “spoof” one’s location while submitting data drew attention  in Nevada and Arizona, raising further concerns.

The reason this is relevant is because he has spent the better part of a year complaining about “illegal immigrants” who are “invading” the country. But an old video from 2013 resurfaced on Saturday that appears to show the billionaire admitting he was at one point building his small business in the country illegally, describing it as a “gray area.”
