To be frank i haven't found much use for peertube yet. All my creators are still on youtube. If you're interested in linux, gaming and open source there are the linux experiment, gaming on linux, the linux cast and Veronica explains but they all mirror their videos from youtube.

You won't find youtube content on there. Like with reddit and lemmy, creators and users have to switch to bolster engagement.

Ios kinda does have undo via a shake but you could also say it's not discoverable, slow and awkward. No idea if Android has anything system and not app-lvl though.

I still have it and still use it occasionally. But yes, performance is often bad. Always suspected it was the storage but couldn't understand why or how it could become slower over time. Because I don't remember it being this slow when it was new. I also thought it was the new android updates that came out over time.

Maybe i misunderstood your question but i've also heard many say they weren't getting all the content from the channels they subbed to exactly on the subscriptions feed. Personally i've never noticed this but that's why some channels started recommending to also hit the bell.

Yep. Actually using them in everyday life will be the answer. Playing the sounds one time individually can't really say whether I'll like it or want to disable it right away.

I don't mind it much but see what you mean. I just think the name of the theme Blue Ocean explains a bit why they're this way. Almost like you're underwater.

During Prigos march there were reports the Kremlin were actively calling the few countries they still had some relationship with. So it looked like he was considering escape for a moment.

Why not? Sounds are a subtle and quick indicator that something went good or bad. And if you find a particular action too repeating you can turn that sound off.

Plain Matrix rooms are a bit too foreign to Discord users i'd say.

There's another alternative being built which resembles Discord a lot more, is federated and as i understand is built around Matrix communities: https://github.com/commune-os/commune-server

Here's a demo instance: https://shpong.com/

Yeah she just uses the keyboard to input a few fields very quickly. It's that machine's sole purpose. But I assume it's still connected to some network to get data about ticket availability and I wonder how secure it is.

The old lady behind the counter at our bus station is using dos to handle the payments and print the tickets
