Tungsten. It's just so cool that it's so dense and has such a high melting point. It's also really hard and tough.

Edit: also dragonflies are pretty badass

You could make a religion out of this

I would say: "Don't switch to Linux. Just start with Linux and never use Windows or Mac in the first place"

Don't have to get used to something if you've never used something else.

Pine64 makes a security camera for use with a (included?) Raspberry Pi, iirc

When they have some of the same interests as you, but for different reasons. It provides for excellent conversation when you can talk about something you're both passionate about, but because you're passionate for different reasons, you have different perspectives, and it keeps a topic you're very familiar with very interesting.

Woke has got to be one of the most meaningless words out there. So many things are labeled as being "woke". From left-wing to right-wing, from progressive to conservative, it's genuinely insane.

Can you please define what you mean by "woke"? (Funnily enough, most people that regularly use the word "woke" can't even properly explain what it means)

(Not directly answering your question but) if it works like a VPN service then yeah. However, P2P connections might not be routed through TOR in that case. Be careful about that

Atheism Pamphlet (archive.org)
submitted 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) by illectrility@sh.itjust.works to c/atheism@lemmy.ml

Found this pamphlet in my mailbox this morning. I pretty much agree with it and I think I'll keep it for the next time Jehovah's Witnesses decide to show up way too early in the morning.

Edit: I linked the digital mirror that was printed on the back of the pamphlet. Also, it's CC0 which I think is cool

I'm sorry if this isn't the place to ask this, I also asked over at !raspberrypi@lemmy.ml.

So what I want to do is this: Two RasPis are at different locations. They're on different networks but have internet access. Pressing a button on one of the Pis turns on an LED over at the other Pi via GPIO. How can I make the communication work? My first thought was Telegram bots as I'm familiar with those for notifications but you can't have Telegram bots communicate with each other, sadly. Is there a good (and secure) solution to this? Preferably using Python code and without continuous costs like server hosting, etc?

Thanks!
