Civilians they told to turn back. Its a single ship not an entire landmass. They immobilized most ships and ceased fire. That's not some kind of unrestrained bloodlust.

Those waters aren't safe. They are free to circumnavigate

Where did you get the idea

from their leader and troops

sorry bud but if you're really going to equate the death of two people to a genocide you lost me there.

They've killed two people out of quite a sizable number of attacks. Deeply unfortunate anyone died, but it speaks to the fact they're trying to avoid civilian casualties. They have the courage to stand up to the US backed genocide of Gaza, because not long ago, they faced similar odds in the US backed, Saudi destruction of Yemen.

They're using their sovereign rights to blockade their waters. I don't care about the demonization or the disruption of shipping. They're putting themselves in the sights of the US out of sheer empathy. Which gives me hope.

I mostly feel for the two developers who have the task of building a social media network for a wage that couldn't buy you one developer. They're overloaded with issues and project goals. You cannot go 10 minutes on the 'fediverse' without hearing how the developers are awful tankies while then demanding them to add features. Must be exhausting.

I agree its an important feature, I want the internet to have privacy in mind. But its really easy to overlook how much work they put in only to be met with such hostility. Everyone talks about 'but let's just fork it, that's the beauty of open source' when I guarantee you will not find devs with the same dedication or passion.

Hope that people can agree that wanting this feature is A-OK but that the people working on this project are just overworked people who deserve a bit more respect.

Non-Jewish Arabs in the basic laws of Israel do not have rights to self determination. Its a fucking apartheid state. Its like saying millions of native Africans lived in South Africa. These people only had a reason to attack because they live in an open air prison that mirrors a Warsaw ghetto with complete siege from their neighbor. A lot of the things they did was retaliation and a deep brewing anger. What the fuck were they supposed to do? March peacefully? Israel shot them by the thousands in 2018 when they tried to. where is your humanity?

You are ridiculous. First you spread misinformation about the ICJ ruling, bending what the ruling meant. Now you are trying to use a 'no, you' card to bend my words and pretend that there hasn't been a racist campaign against Palestinians and Arabs for decades.

There were likely rapes that occurred on October 7th, and there have been rapes of Israeli detained Palestinian hostages as well. How can you not see that one is now being used as a racial justification for genocide while the other is ignored.

What's controversial is the depiction of Palestinians as rapists and outlining a systemic, racial, or cultural issue of rape within Arab populations, then pointing to the few instances it does occur as proof for a racist point of view.

Both parties are guilty of rape and sexual assault. None of that is okay. However only one is being racially profiled as having an innate proclivity for rape.

  • group offers diversity inclusion consulting, whatever that means

  • steam user curates list to tell people to avoid games solely because a diversity consulting group was onboard.

  • I go to curated list and click on games to check on reviews

  • People review bomb random games with shred of involvement with said company, including smaller devs

  • Many reviews say the game is too 'woke'. These people's profiles are inflammatory or bigoted

i fucking hate gaming magazines

That isn't what I said. If you cut the middleman, you are informed nearly immediately. You can tell whether your government's actions align with their words immediately. In many instances we learned of the lies before they were even told. That's why you currently have a nation of cynics.

“You know and I know it’s the toughest, most efficient, most effective border security bill this country’s ever seen,” Biden said. “So instead of playing politics with the issue, why don’t we just get together and get it done?”

Biden touted the bipartisan border bill as “a win for the American people,” calling it a “truly bipartisan initiative.” He called on the Senate to reconsider the bill, asking senators to “set politics aside” and for House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., to put the bill on the floor.

“We need to act,” Biden said, adding that Republicans in Congress needed to “show a little spine.”
