Downvoted bcos Op bi+ched about downvoting in the beginning of text, that's bad behaviour, do better

Although, the Chromium project just like Android are free, they're stained by being majorly developed by google and are the major source of spying and tracking today

If you can get one of the early Kobo ereaders, you can flash this Libre OS on it, that would be better.

Also, those early Kobo ereaders (glo, nia, mini and some other models) can support up to 32gb sdcard, that's a lot of books and out goes the need for cloud storage

i've been desperately trying to get my hands on one of those, but I live in a third country and import duties are a pain

Any device produced by the Transsion company, a company which exists only to scam ppl out of their hard earned money and create e-waste. They're the owners of the Infinix, Tecno and Itel mobile lineups

if you want a 2gb ram device produced this year that can get so hot and burn the flesh off your palm, get one of these devices, they're so prevalent in Africa, India and other developing countries

the marketing budget for each lineup outweighs the RnD budget for the three collectively

Nostr isn't a Lemmy alternative, it's a Mastodon/Twitter/BlueSky substitute with more decentralized, secure and private features and i think OP should have pointed that out.

And since Op was comparing the secure and private features of both protocols, ActivityPub surely has improvements to implement for greater privacy and security.

I don't know what part of the US Oregon is but i imagine Asians would always stand out in rural places

Hi everyone, i would like to know what makes you stand out from your immediate environment. It could be something physical or a feature that qualifies you.

I'll go first, i have quite large feet from years of moving around barefooted and while growing up, i had to have shoes custom made as most of the good ones were made in general sizes only, i still have trouble getting shoes.

Sorry to impose on you, but can you package the app as a Flatpak? That would make it more readily available.

Nails too. Whenever i trim my nails, I feel a loss of sensitivity in my hands or feets. Also, both nails and hair are made up of the same body protein, Keratin.
