If you are on ios device, using safari, tap the link and, you have to quick, tap the AA at the far left corner of the safari search (URL bar) while page is starting to load.

Why do you personally prefer using an Android phone? in c/android@lemmy.world

Hi there, just a question, see the VLC issue, have you tried the option to ‘Sharing Via Wi-Fi’ under ‘Network’ in VLC?
Once that is activated, it gives you a local IP then you go to your computer’s browser, type that IP address and drag files from say Desktop into the browser.
You will not need iTunes.
