I think it's risky if you live in the UK. We have a law called the Communications Act which has broad powers banning posting of anything which is 'grossly offensive'. It's entirely up to a court to decide what is 'grossly offensive' on a case-by-case basis.

What web browser is that?

In Scotland, it tends to indicate your political beliefs. People flying the Union Jack are normally unionists and supporters of the monarchy, whereas people flying the Saltire (Scottish) flag are normally nationalists (pro-independence). It's therefore difficult to fly a flag 'neutrally' unless you were to fly both.

Nice collection. I used to have a ZX Spectrum. BTW, I like the basic design of your web page, we need more of that.

Why do so many Lemmy servers use the .ml top-level domain? Is there a meaning to it?

I suppose my main concern is what happens if a server decides to close down? Would my account be lost?

I think I get it now, thanks.

Thanks for your reply.

I have registered an account on SDF's Lemmy server. Can I use this account to log in to other servers, or do I need a separate account for each server?

I'm a reddit user hoping to transition to Lemmy. I couldn't sign up on lemmy.ml, so I signed up on SDF.
