I think you *should* think about moving to more FOSS-friendly OSes, but in time, down the line, not this instant. Maybe the next devices you'll own, or when you feel ready, comfortable, with privacy; anyway, GL!

I'd start small, a lot of people would tell you to do some drastic changes to you life, but, like every other thing you have in life, start small, or you'll might fail.

I'd suggest starting here.

Shelter is better, BTW; but Insular is good option too.

If you don't want Google *device* you could get any other device supported by LOS but is means no official GOS on your phone.

To update your Play Store apps you can use Aurora Store (notice that Aurora *Droid* is completely different app).

Banking apps work great on second profile (user), you can use Shelter/Insular (accessible from the main user), or Android's 'Multiple Users' (which means to switch user).

I think that app dead now, but I'm sure there are similar apps on the Play store.

*You could create your own types of test (because sorry, not sorry, Anki sucks): Typing Practice, Multiple Choice, True/False, Fill-in-the-Blank, Matching, Short Answer.

Two apps in particular:

- Test me Anything*

- I can't wake up

OP, CentOS and CentOS Steam are two *very* different beasts, you don't want Stream.

I wouldn't go for CentOS either because you'll have to replace it anyway.

I'm mentioning that because you can download the old CentOS, but like the commenter above me said, you can do Alma or Rocky.

I would go for Debian, but that's a personal preference.

Unless I can't, Kebab.

No need to hold Shift.

Hopefully it's the right community, I didn't find more appropriate so post this. I'll remove the post if it isn't.

I'm not really sure if it's a Lemmy or Liftoff problem, but I can't post a message with the words version-number inside angle brackets (<>).

The text just keeping to disappear.

Is it a bug?

I can't login to my account. It works both on browser, and on Jerboa v0.34 (latest Jerboa - v.35 has a lot of problems).
