Yeah Youtube-dl is not currently being maintained so I think this is the best alternative we currently have to it.

I kinda feel like why would anyone want to use this when they can just download a free copy of Windows 10 and be happy with that?

Been trying to use reddit with tor and the reddit mods have shadow banned me on multiple accounts and I have sent an appeal on all of them so will need to wait for them to get back to me on this, but I don't think they will lift it to be honest.
