@iameru @liaizon @fediverse I'm replying to you right now using Mastodon ๐Ÿ˜ƒ I can also view the thread of the OP in Mastodon, if I have the fediverse-link to the post. So it shares posts, boosts, upvotes etc across services, regardless of software. As long as they all speak ActivityPub, we should all be able to do basic interactions.

For instance, I'm unable to downvote via Mastodon, but I can always upvote (on Masto it's called a favourite) and "boost" a post.

I've got to say, Linux and FOSS in general has really come a long way just these few last years. For me it has gone from tedious and problem-ridden to mostly frictionless. But the times that I do stumble unto an issue, it still takes a while to figure out a solution ๐Ÿ™ƒ So, not perfect yet, but a looot more user friendly these days! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
