Yeah I have to say that I was not convinced at all when I tried Lemmy but kbin is a lot easier

Ah, so do you literally see the same exact posts twice if you do that? Super annoying but filtering duplicates in the background seems like something that could be easily fixed (unless I'm missing something). Hopefully more interest will lead to more open source contributors!

Yeah I'm still pretty confused tbh! So I'm on kbin, you have kbin next to your name too OP, but then the sidebar has reddthat.com and linux@lemmy.ml?
Does this mean we both signed up at kbin but the subreddit equivalent is linux (on Lemmy.ml)? But then how does reddthat.com come into it?
I feel like this person's comment re the AMA deserves a wider audience ๐
I'm living in hope that this will catch on and Christian and the other third-party developers will work on Fediverse apps...
