Got it, that was weird. Voyager wasn’t hiding read posts, but the settings on my account were.

That all seems right to me. The community has all languages set and I have English and undetermined.

When I’m logged into my moderator account I see “!techunionization@programming.dev is completely empty” despite having 3 posts. When I log out and use a private browser tab I see it.

There may not be enough gold to go around, but there’s enough gold for me :)

Is there a github issue or discussion about implementing pods for lemmy?

Lemmy was the first Fediverse that actually worked for me, because I don’t like Twitter and don’t care to follow randos I’ve never heard of. I like anonymous forums.

Soon they will probably use ai to pick out similar phrases people come up with without any updates. Like green Mario.

Lemmy added export data import data features I think. That’s plenty.

I’m not even sure on anonymous Internet forums what I would want to move.

That might be worth it. Is bitwarden self hosted FOSS?

I know it’s difficult but just call a friend who is on facebook in the group for updates.

Enough people start doing that and the group will realize there’s a demand for off Facebook communication.

Even mastadon would be sufficient. But a signal group or even sms is enough.

I think it’s a big overexageration that leaving meta is social suicide. Call your friends.

One thing we do need to replace though is meetup. I thrive there but organizing on meetup is terrible and expensive.

Yeah but without email aliases it would not be worth it

I did weeks of work migrating every password and email address to proton. Sucks the stances they are taking but now I’m kinda stuck, and it’s still better than Google.
