If you can't donate then it's really helpful to just post/comment regularly. I think the main thing Lemmy needs at this point is just more content.

I got banned for a ridiculous reason on Reddit and every time I make a new account it gets banned within 24 hours I’ve already tried to use a VPN but it didn’t work. Any way I can get around the mods? in c/reddit@lemmy.ml

Sounds like Reddit wants you to just use Lemmy instead :)
