The whole country didn't turn to the right. Trump got fewer votes than in 2020. The problem is fhe left didn't turn out. Kamala got 13M fewer votes than Biden. 🤷♂️

To be a serious Star Trek fan means you see way beyond countries and current politics.
That isn't something most humans are good at.
It maybe will always feel bad for us to exist in this uncaring universe where the majority seems to care only about what immediately affects them.
To have a kind and open heart maybe just has this cost. I wish I could offer more.
This is the real question.
I think the answer is wealth inequality and failing education systems. If we fix the first through better tax practices, we could fix the second, and maybe pay for everyone's healthcare, too.

I like to believe this, too, but then I look around.
Giant houses, giant trucks, luxury goods, motorsport toys, boats, guns.... the people backing this stuff today are way better off than their parents were. 🤷♂️
