... you don't actually believe that, do you? Cause they can 100% go all in on Chinese corporations if it means they get that cashola.

And if you think Chinese companies aren't in it for the money themselves... I'd love to meet your dealer cause you must be on some fantastic shit.

So better to just do nothing instead, aside from bitching on the internet, amirite?

No government is going to be perfect, but it's never going to get better unless people actually do something instead of sitting on their ass and whining.

We've also seen over and over they won't just fix things themselves if you rely on "competition". They'll just buy each other until there's no competition, or they'll collude to just not provide anything worthwhile in the first place.

Competition is a race to the bottom in capitalism. Government intervention has nothing to do with their race to bilk people of as much money as possible, except with regulatory capture.

Leaving them to their wiles just gets you even worse products for higher prices. The problem won't solve itself, especially with such a high barrier to entry.

Ah, good ole' "They're all bad and there's nothing we can do about it so might as well just sit on our asses as the world burns down around us instead of doing literally anything meaningful to help"

Such a classic.

Would a Monowheel be considered a "wheeled vehicle" since it's not a vehicle with wheels, but rather a wheel that is a vehicle?

A vehicled wheel, if you will.

Think less of it as volunteering for a political party and more as volunteering for ideological pragmatism. You don't have to have cloned sensibilities to work with someone or some organization to better your country/county/city.

Labour, like the Tories, are too far gone to actually fix any of the underlying issues we face.

The only way this is ever true is because people refuse to accept that change is possible. Even Tories could be reformed if enough people of conscience stood up and made their voices heard. Remote as that possibility is... it's still a possibility.

The truly irredeemable only exist in fantasy, as a cheap source of righteous fury for the heroes. The real world is far too grey to accept such absolutes.

That's what post-its are for!

Don't forget, any info you don't believe is just government propaganda! Just like vaccines, the moon landing, and the spherical nature of the planet!
