I came here 3 years ago when I started looking for reddit alternatives, for a while i lurked here then i eventually visisted it less and less until now
Tbh i feel a few weeks ago the site was basically dead with most posts on front page having less than 10 upvotes and low engagement on all the posts so the new people joining gave the site a revival in a way or something
I am like a veteran to this site because i joined 2 years before new people moved to here
I agree with this post and I think that its important to have a post like this to remind people.
TILvids is a video community focused on edutainment content. The goal is to deliver interesting videos that you might not otherwise see. Some other important information:
We do not have video ads, but are funded by donations.
We put a heavy emphasis on respecting the data privacy of our users, and building a healthy relationship with content creators.
The site runs on the fantastic open-source PeerTube ecosystem.
