You might want to try Sea of Stars, it is fairly similar and also very good (but quite shorter)

Every day, but different games than what I play on my desktop pc. Right now playing Hades on it.

That is sometime the issue when your code editor is a disguised web browser 😅

I got those but I have not tried them yet. https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006125059404.html They seem rated good enough. There's multiple models from the same item you can switch to.

You can buy hall effect joysticks for those but you have to solder them yourself. Bought some and didn't get to install them yet, but they seem promising.

Bit of extra unrelated info, so far I've had 4 360 controllers for 10+ years that never drifted, and two ps5 controllers less than a year old had to be repaired because they started drifting. I love the dualsense feel, but they sure used shitty joysticks.

Heard mixed things about Fallout 4 new update for the deck. I decided to try it out with the default settings. Happy to report that it works great, I'm getting stable 60 (at least up to Concord) and it looks nice.

Beside the code being hosted in many places, is there any of the forks moving forward / worth upgrading to?

Go check the petition text and https://www.stopkillinggames.com/faq

Leaving the servers online endlessly has never been what is being asked.

Can you tell me more about this? First time I hear about upscaling without FSR or DLSS. I don't mean anti-aliasing or linear scaling.

Tbh I'd rather compare performance and quality without any upscaling. It's fun to upscale obviously since you're giving some life to older hardware, but it's essentially cheating and it introduces latency which is never really measured. Also as we've seen, the upscaling is mostly tied to software which can change over time, so it shouldn't really be taken into account for comparing GPUs.

What are the old geforce owner using now? AMD's FSR probably.

I'm so glad they did this partnership as well, my first deck had a whiny fan (pretty bad), bought a new fan that was fairly easy to install and made it so much better to use the device! Ifixit tools are pretty good, too.

They have linux support, but it runs better with Proton. Tried both on Deck

Has anyone tried undervolting since it's apparently widely available?

I undervolt my pc's GPU (6750xt) with great results, but I'm wondering if people are getting good results on the deck as well.

How low are most people getting at while stable? What would be a good benchmark that runs on SteamOS to judge if it's good?
