Don't worry, I don't live in a red state but also get this same message when trying to sleep

Typical boring worksheets that schools give to kids... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

For most cases, yes, people should get their own equipment, but for me, I'm on a government subsidized internet plan and my equipment is free.

But if we no longer qualify for this in the future, then yea, we'll get our own equipment.

Already tried:

Options all greyed out with a message telling you to go to xfinity.com/myxfi which just tells you to download the app

The xfinity gateway (modem + router in one device)

10.0.0.1 is the web access to the controls and this is what it shows:

They link to a webpage to change those settings, which requires logging to xfinity account, but now this webpage just tells you you have to download the app.

But I love to exclude people

People who I exclude: Fascists, Tankies, Billionaires, Corporate executives, etc...

Wait what? Noooo please don't leave us ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I mean, what can they see with the router that they already cant see as an ISP?

That's around the time I got my first phone, I feel too young to be here.

Ctrl+W? Am I too much of a computer noob to understand?

Edit: Oh, just searched it, it closes a window? I don't normally use shortcuts so I don't know what most shortcuts are.

Also, fuck xfinity and their BS. Can't even change wifi password without downloading an app.

What? The cat ran outside and you forgot about it? ๐Ÿ˜ง

Full StoryMy cat is fine, she wants to wander outside all the time, sometimes you don't even notice that she slipped outside when someone opens the door. There's some bushes in my front yard that she hides in for safety.

Last week, my cat spent the night wandering outside. Then at 3-5 AM next morning, my mother woke up to a loud cat meow and opened the front door to check. There it is, my cat dashing toward the door. She slipped outside the night before when the door was opened.

Assuming everything else was the same, but we branch off into a parallel universe where the US Supreme Court just ignore facts and arbitrarily decided by a 5-4 vote (assuming Roberts side with the 3 liberal justices, because that's probably the most realistic scenario) that Donald J. Trump is the winner of the election. What would happen? Civil war?

Asking because I'm a pessimist and always think of worst-case scenarios.

Edit: Just asked because of curiosity. Iโ€™m not actually looking for such vehicles.

Edit 2: So for context, my parents new Toyota has this feature that allows the GPS location of the car to be sent to toyota, then you can see the location via an app on android/ios (it's supposed to be an anti-theft feature). The data is sent via an antenna that connects to cell towers, which then connects to the internet, and to the toyota servers. "Diagnostic" and "maintenance" information is also sent via those same antennas.

The dealer said it could be turned off, but who knows if they are really off. There's not a hard switch on the car.

Like a scale from 0 to 100 with 0 being boring af and 100 being "Omg this is the best book ever!"

The Chancellor of Germany, in a move to show solidarity to pirates, wears an eye patch.

Petition for this image to become the new community logo.

I forgot my Bitwarden password and I know most of the words, I am missing one word and I know the starting letter of of the word. Is there like a strategy to guessing passwords? Is there a program to assist in guessing passwords? I feel like guessing manually would take months.

Leading questions:

Representative vs Direct Democracy?

Unitary or Federal?

Presidential or Parliamentary?

How much separations of powers should there be? In presidential systems, such as the United States of America, there is often deadlock between the executive and legislature. In parliamentary systems, the head of government is elected by legislature, therefore, there is practically no deadlock as long as theres is majority support of the executive in the legislature (although, there can still be courts to determine constitutionality of policiss). Would you prefer more checks and balances, but can also result in more deadlock, or a government more easily able to enact policies, for better or for worse?

Electoral method? FPTP? Two-Round? Ranked-Choice/Single-Transferable Vote? What about legislature? Should there be local districts? Single or Multi member districts? Proportional-representation based on votes for a party? If so, how should the party-lists be determined?

Should anti-democratic parties be banned? Or should all parties be allowed to compete in elections, regardless of ideology? In Germany, they practice what's called "Defensive Democracy" which bans any political parties (and their successors) that are anti-democratic. Some of banned political parties include the nazi party.

How easy or difficult should the constitution br allowed to be changed? Majority support or some type of supermajority support?

Should we really elect officials, or randomly select them via sortition?

These are just some topics to think about, you don't have to answer all of them.

Edit: Clarified some things
