Your palm is nearly a meter wide?!

Dehumanising people makes it easy to hate and persecute them, and to blame them for a bunch of stuff which isn't their fault. It really is a classic move with a rich history.

Overlooked doesn't mean what you think it means.

Is the three musketeers really on par with the count? I've been meaning to read it for months but I always got the sense it would be disappointing.

All of HP Lovecraft's stories.

I liked it until about half way through, it seemed to lose all the intrigue and then there was the weird bit about rape (if I remember correctly) at which point I gave up. Shame because it started well.

Just finished Embassytown by China Mieville. Haven't read anything for ages so took the opportunity to get back into it on a lazy holiday. Highly recommend this book, or any by China, if you enjoy dense sci-fi.

Sound on sound was always well worth a read. That said, I haven't read it in about 20 years and don't know if it's even still going.

Your assessment of probability is speculation and I didn't suggest you meant "always".

That's not necessarily true, I dual boot and I've been using Linux for my main OS for about 15 years now. I rarely use mine but it is useful/needed occasionally.

I'm just trying out Immich and I'm really impressed, seems to be exactly what I'm looking for except for one thing. I am looking for something that is a central library for my family so we can all access the same photos and all upload to the same place.

It looks like users can see other users' libraries but you lose the People functionality and perhaps a few other things.

What's the best solution? I'm thinking of just creating a generic user and giving the details for everyone to use but it seems a shame to lose the user functionality of individual passwords etc.
