Fortunately I was born with my sexuality difficulty set to Easy Mode. However, these days I often wonder what is the point of dark room hookups, glory holes, and circle jerks in the woods behind the rest stop off the highway.
As for deeper relationships, I fully supported all my previous and future partners in leaving me male or female. They really did and do deserve better and I honestly can't be there for them the way they deserve without some pretty crazy good luck in life to dig myself out of this hole I was born in.
After working so many part time jobs, I am left with nothing. Less then nothing. Working tirelessly to barely make it (not thrive) has slowly drained me of all that I can. All that I am.
Life really has dug it's claws in me the past decade, harder then before. The knife has been twisted both ways through cost of living increases and people coming to take my shit, break my shit, or break me. You ever have to setup a surveillance system to find out who is breaking your shit? That nagging thought in the back of your mind... what's getting broken next? Who is getting broken?
At the end of the day, even ignoring the hurt people trying to hurt me, there isn't even enough left over after all my jobs for the stuff I need to do for me. Much less a whole other person. People still come by the basement, but I do prefer to see them go more then show up now that I'm out of my 20's.
Is this all just aging in general? PTSD from terrible living conditions? Maybe, maybe more. Doesn't matter to me. I'm clinging on to this life in a terrible place surrounded by terrible people. I survive out of spite. Plus I bet I'm already over half way through my life. Half way through my rent payments to exist on a world conquered by fiat currency or whatever else people use to justify their unjust power over others.
Hope you find your way to a chill peaceful place. That's what I'm doing, even if I don't believe i will ever find it in this life.
