How come drug dealers seem to have a messed up house or at least a messed up car with a bunch of trash in it? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

I knew several living in regularly middle class neighborhoods with regular clean houses. One, in a gated community.

I think it's just as equal chance as anyone else having a messy house. The news rather shows sensation, so I think they would be less likely to give a tour of the drug dealers house if it looked like it could be your neighbor.

Also a lot of times people who deal drugs do it as a last resort. People who are already down and out. So poverty to begin with and everything that goes with it.

I have been to jail in the US. How come they always offer a bible instead of offering you different religious books like a quran? in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

Childhood trauma, caffeine, nicotine. And some positive feedback I have routines. I have a routine for getting ready in the morning, I have a routine for when I come home, I have a routine for night time. When the weekend comes if I have things to do I just load up on caffeine. My work day is filled with schedules and timelines.
