Not familiar with their anti consumer backstabbing, could you share share some links please?
Counterpoint, why do dolphins and sharks look so alike when they have a completely different phylogenetic tree? They separately developed traits that were very well suited to the medium of water. Convergent evolution means that it isn't entirely unlikely that whatever we may find has similar traits to beings on earth, because we all exist in a universe of solids, liquids, and gasses.

Couldn't the html be loaded into memory at the beginning of the program and then served whenever? I understand the reading from disk will be slow, but that only happens once in the beginning.
The way I thought about it is that the looming task isn't heavy enough to lift your motivation to action whatever consequences there are.
The valuation of those companies should be wrapped up in their performance, financials, and future outlook.

Very true, glad I didn't have anything super essential in the chats, but still peeved as there were a couple of nice interactions I had that I would occasionally look back on.
