If we defederate easy, users don't join an fediverse but just an extra community. At this point I would prefer punbb or phpbb as old times ^^ We really lost the interest of fediverse I think in this way.

My POV tldr :
Users or sub community do shit -> ban/block.
Admins of an instance starting an war openly or OK with some actions comparable of -> defederation.
Their answer is full of demagogia ... Its scary how its good...
If they start raid, or to be meaningful we can ban the specific communities or users instead of unfederate.
I really want to be able to read them (curiosity, see the new words their using etc ).

My point of view is : Just take their contents manually or with not, to discuss about it here. With the indexation by search engines, fediverse will be the new reference.
For ur last point the solution is reddit choosing to transfers to the fediverse system. There is (my POV) no interest to Dev an solution to make reddit connected to Lemmy/kbin
You can ask for French too, at least its subtile (less more the time is passing). I guess sometimes we are just morons, and we should really care and just not show China and others fuckers (meaning dictators not people )

I'm using quiterss but I start to use my mobile more and more.
The user need to be conscient of that. Otherwise its really unfair. If he doesn't know the server he choose did that, he will be restrain without being aware of this.
And in an other hand, if I have to check why someone don't respond to me (example), to be sure where this someone is, is federated, that would be really painful and discouraging. That can lead to a lot of misunderstood too.
Its unbelievable how that could not be working. U made an identity, even you delete your account they will just put back ur pseudo, ur comments but hey no IP visible that's fine ? Its fucking usurpation if I do an analogy with IRL life. I should not be surprise, there is law (and if its free u are the product ), but its just common sense..
