That's not the point. If they are already standing over you then you would be dead before you wake up. But we should never act like that is the only scenario possible
They make quick access safes which can be mounted on or near your bed, so instead of leaving a loaded gun in a drawer where anyone can get it, it's in a locked safe with either a fingerprint or button combo unlock. The safe can be opened in seconds by someone who knows what they are doing but would otherwise keep the loaded weapon secure.
No amount of healthcare can stop mental decline from old age. It happens to all of us eventually and it is very obviously something that has been happening to Joe Biden. I'm grateful for all he has done as President but it's a good thing that he has decided to step down from running again.
But what was their life expectancy when Joe Biden was born 80 years ago?

If you drive the border of Texas it is a trip more than 40 hours long. Two straight days of non-stop driving. The US is stupid big and has an insane amount of roadways, you could drive your whole life and have roads you have never been on.
If you aren't willing to follow the societal rules of conversation then there is no point in having one.
