Die haben ja vor ca 10 Jahren einen der größten cyberattacks überhaupt erlebt, da holt man sich natürlich die kompetentesten Köpfe der Branche!

Are u f*cking kidding me!?

That really sucks!

I'm waiting for the Razr vs Flip reviews to see which one comes out on top, but this is a big - for the flip!

It is but the mod does not allow questions there.

The metrics I quoted may not be precise, but they are still representative. How many more subs does android have on your instance compared to askandroid?

That aside: Just look at the post & engagement numbers!

My argument is that, at the moment, the community is too small for so many specific sub-communitites. And this approach sends users into oblivion.

Most of the deleted questions aren't even reposted in the other sub, and if they are get way less responses.

Totally agree.

Day after day the mods delete questions and force users over to askandroid, a community with only ~250 subs and 8 active users a day.

The main community had about 10 new posts within the last 24hrs. A few questions would not hurt at all (5 within the last 24hrs)

Or ask on !android@lemmy.ml, they allow questions and have about 6x as much subscribers as askandroid.

Yeah, it sucks. Recently moved from a 5 to a 7a and it's just terrible.

Maybe it will improve over time but chances are I'll switch to another phone vefore that happens...

They are out there but not in large quantities.

i.e. my new home server runs on an odroid H3

Maybe I'm celebrating too soon but I feel that, finally, smaller phones are having a comeback.

It clould also be that it took ~3 yrs for the folding tech to enable smaller phones but after checking out many razr+(40ultra) reviews, and now the HM V2, reviewers are once again getting excited about smaller dimensions and lighter weight.

If you like statistics give graphana a look. It's a very powerful graphing toolkit, given enough time you can create really beautiful views of your data.

If you need aditional data: Many smart plugs can measure power consumption...

Before buying more sensors/actuators: Think about the communication pritocols you want to use:

WiFi

  • No additional HW required
  • Simple setup
  • No battery powered devices or high battery consumption

Bluetooth

  • Probably no add. HW req.
  • Battery powered devices
  • limited range

Zigbee

  • good range
  • lots of devices
  • low power/battery powered
  • needs add. HW (usb stick)
  • may be a little more complex to set up

(This is just a veeery short summary)

It's one of the first phones that raised my interest in a looong time...

And it works great!

I started off with 1.1.7 which was terrible (false posivitives/muptiple 'ghosts'), now with 1.1.9 it seems to be fixed.

Now I'm pretty happy with the sensor. Especially creating different detection zones is a phantastic feature. It can even peek a bit in the adjacent rooms to support other motion sensors.
