What model do you use?

I already had home assistant, so this was quick to set up. Seems to be working pretty well and hasn't crashed the mo0de client.

I'll give it a proper trial.

Thank you!

Yep, been there and tried that. Never got it working a way I liked

Thanks for explaining your setup. 👍Sounds a bit hacky too. Unexplained crashes are damn hard to work out

Thanks for this. It looks interesting.

Not sure if it is right or not bit I'll take a look!

Tempo the android app?

I don't think that helps in controlling speakers?

Hi,

I've had Navidrome set up for a while and am really happy using Symfonium on andriod, however I'm struggling with a set up for home speakers.

I'm currently running mo0de on a raspi and using Symfonium to cast to mo0de via uPnP. However this is very janky and frequently crashes mo0de after 5-10 songs.

Is there anything better I can use? Is there anything that can use the subsonic api? Or something else I can cast to from Symfonium?

Wow, you were not wrong!

Forgive the ignorance but does xmpp have the same features as signal, particularly around e2e encryption?

[–] Starfarer@lemmy.today 1 points 11 months ago

Sorry, it is nvme

[–] Starfarer@lemmy.today 3 points 11 months ago

Thanks for the idea.

It doesn't happen locally or the same times. Definitely seems like some kind of network/jellyfin issue.

No, never used subtitles.

Thanks for the suggestion though

The data is on an SATA SSD but I could try moving some over to the small M2 drive to see if there is a difference. Jellyfin is the only process accessing it.

Hi,

I have recently set up a Jellyfin server running on a Beelink S12 pro in docker (with a few other containers running), and I am having a few problems with stuttering video.

I get little micro-stutters every few seconds regardless of whether it is direct play or transcoding and regardless of what client I use (librelec with Jellyfin plugin), android phone, or firefox on a windows laptop), and I am struggling to narrow down the cause of it.

Any ideas of where I should look first?

The server utilisation seems low, I have tried a wired and wifi connection, I have tried 720, 1080, and 2160 resolution videos, with and without transcoding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Selfhosted,

I am looking for the best solution to replace spotify for at home and out of the house music.

I already have a large music library and run moOde for multiroom audio and use spotify connect to cast to it.

Is my best option to set up an MPD server and wireguard vpn to use it on the go? Are there other options? What would you recommend?
