I see your point but:

  1. It's not always summer somewhere, North and South are in spring/fall half the year.
  2. The global North has way more population than the south.

Pencil for scale. Circuit board, 1 USB plug that lights up an LED when you plug it in. Windows doesn't recognize it as a device. Two little metal leg things with "feet".
