Those plastic cylindrical ones where you can store some buds on top that you can find in any headshop have always treated me right. They work great and their cheap. Have to be replaced occasionally though.

There's a land war on in Europe, and another more recently in the middle east, tech is still confused about how to deal with a post COVID world, and just laid off hundreds of thousands of employees, refugees from climate crisis and political unrest are fleeing across the Americas, Asian and Europe, nationalism has been on the rise for nearly a decade, and here at home the GOP is in a true state of crisis, as their old guard evil white guys are dealing with the insane fascists new guys.

The world is crazy right now, but eggs are expensive, so fuck voting I guess.

Sure, I've uprooted plenty. Some people have circumstances... Like a dependent parent or dependence on a job for insurance. Being human is hard for plenty of people without all the added shit.

Sure, but that's not as easy as it sounds. Your suggestion is to leave family, friends, work, etc etc. Lots of people are tied to a location based on circumstances they can't control.

Coming from Windows for decades, my M1 Mac is the most stable, battery sipping machine I've ever had. Shrug...

What is your discipline? I personally am a graphic designer, but I also shoot and edit video, learned to produce shoots, and shoot and edit edit photo when needed, though I'm definitely nothing specia with photo. I love animating my designs in after effects and I have made myself pretty damn good with html, css, JavaScript and web flow. You gotta be open to things. Creativity is all connected. Any boring PowerPoint deck can be a creative challenge.

But remember that you're working is worth real money. Everyone else thinka you do nothing and you'll have to earn all of your respect. Be kind and humble. It is possible.

To add some positivity... Art is absolutely something you can make money with. It's a struggle and you're going to be poor for most of your early career, but that goes for most jobs. Make art.
