Don't you just love when a user submits a ticket that's "super urgent, this is preventing me from doing my job!" and when you ask how long it's been happening: "Oh, about a month"

And nothing of value was lost

This was years ago, but I had a similar issue of not being able to SSH in a hotel. I talked to the front desk and they were able to grant me access to a different network that didn't have that blocked. I can't remember whether I had to pay for it or not...

Around here, the grocery stores usually have a deli section that also cooks and sells ready-to-eat food, including fried chicken and chicken tenders. I suspect something like that is where this sign was seen

Adding on to this, I really like Adagio's IngenuiTEA 2 (I actually have the Teavana one, but they're the same thing). You just put your loose leaf tea in it, pour in hot water, and let it steep. When it's done you set it on top of your mug and it filters the tea out the bottom

I think I'm about to trade in my Kia Forte for a used Bolt EUV. Pretty close to your mark

Unfortunately that image was the concept image. The real thing doesn't look near as cool. It just kinda looks like a minivan ☹️

It feels good to be voting for someone instead of against them

Oh I see. Down at the bottom. That seems awkward to use. I like the soft touch buttons on both sides of the Voyage. They rest under my thumb while I'm reading and I just have to squeeze to turn the page

Yep, I use 2014 Kindle Voyage. I wish it had the waterproofing and eye-friendly backlight of newer models, but I just can't imagine going without the physical page turn buttons

I just met my new neighbor for the first time, and when we exchanged numbers (by me texting her number) my phone (Pixel 8) showed her full name with a tilde in front of it below the phone number. She's not in my contacts. Where did it get that name from?
