I don't believe that there are any studies that have shown that acting out fantasies in virtual spaces will reduce actions being taken out on real people.

Since it seems like your argument rests on that, do you have anything you can reference to back up the claim?

What exactly is there to gain with AI anyways? What's the great benefit to us as a species? So far its just been used to trivialize multiple artistic disciplines, basic service industries, and programming.

Things have a cost, many people are doing the cost-benefit analysis and seeing there is none for them. Seems most of the incentive to develop this software is if you would like to stop paying people who do the jobs listed above.

What do we get out of burning the planet to the ground? And even if you find an AI thats barely burning it, what's the point in the first place?

I find it interesting that you oppose this bill because it would make your life harder, which you plan to pass onto your workers.

I do this sometimes, all of my arguments have been countered, but I'm so sure I'm right. I'm probably just phrasing it wrong or thinking too slow, yeah thats it.

If I don't realize what I'm doing I'll go spend the next hour trying to solve the puzzle of "what I could have said to win the argument".

Other poster is right, those aren't the only applications around that do those things. If you know its wrong why do it?

You can always just format it.

Base pay has to be the same. You get merit based raised after that. How will they know who's better and who's worse at first? They won't that's why base pay is equal for everyone.

Some employees have so much experience or other skills that they can immediately ask for a higher base pay but it's not the average experience.

Well in my case I very rarely have ever posted on Reddit but I made a post on here that got nearly 100 comments on it, and it's the only one I've made on here. I think the engagement in some areas might be better than reddit

I had a coworker who used to send a wide range of these all the time though, I wonder if this was his trick all along.
