I was corpo brainwashed when I was younger by Walmart, my malleable brain bought into the anti union propaganda and I was at a friend's house and said something anti union and his dad, a proud union member shot me the fuck down which caused me to actually go out and research what unions do and the history and everything and now I'm a progressive.

Yep. Laid off at the end of July. The market sucks. I'm maybe getting 2 interviews a week on average. Compared to my last job search last year where I had so much ink on my calendar I couldn't find time for more interviews. Also I'm autistic and interviewing is very hard for me which is why even in that market I took 3 months to find something after my last layoff
I mean... all these glitches really seem tame compared to skyrim on launch. Talk about a dumpster fire but it's one of the best selling games of the century.
Just had mine yeeted 3 weeks ago... and the pain was a relief compared to the pain I was in before... I got by the first couple of days with the oxcodone the doc prescribed in addition to 800mg ibuprofen. After 2 days or so I stopped taking the oxy and took the ibuprofen only for the next week until the big pills were gone and then periodically just taking 400mg as needed for pain. 3 weeks later and there's no more pain at all and I have started eating things a little more solid woth the dentures I got...
Was thinking the same thing... now, searching through all my SQL scripts for the past year to find the same logic I want to replicate in another script, well that's different.
I have adhd and I will tell you that seems way too hard when I'm lacking executive function. Way too many steps. Much easier is either to grab something pre-made like an uncrustable or something for the air fryer that is literally just put in and press button. Or the ramen in a cup I can just add hot water to from my water fountain that can just give me hot water I don't need to boil.
If I'm looking at the delivery app I've already decided I don't have the energy to cook haha
I open the app to try to find what I want to eat, then look at the prices and decide to drive there myself and get the food which saves $10-$20.
Considering all the layoffs this year (including me) I'd say it is NOT a good time to quit.
