overview for Randomredditor12345

I got banned for a ridiculous reason on Reddit and every time I make a new account it gets banned within 24 hours I’ve already tried to use a VPN but it didn’t work. Any way I can get around the mods? in c/reddit@lemmy.ml

Probably not but I wanted to be thorough as I had been flagged when making accounts from different IP addresses as well.

I would try the following. Call your ISP and ask them to change your IP address, use a new, different browser that has no cookies or cache or whatever, and then make the new account. That worked for me. If you wanna get really paranoid about it maybe also look into spoofing your m.a.c. address. If that fails then I can't even imagine how they would be flagging the new accounts

Have you paired it with the same email address? Have you made the account from a PC or from the app?
