Graphene is awesome, super easy to install with their web tool.

For 2FA if you're still using G00gle's there is no way to export to try and keep you locked in. Go ahead and start switching all your stuff over to Aegis now (my recommendation, or another that's on fdroid and allows exports) and then you literally just export the file to your secure backup (I use filen) and then import on your new graphene install. Super easy. This allows you to keep manual backups as you please as well.

Ya I'm jk, that sounds very excessive. Especially considering a bot could easily solve that with existing CV... gotta wonder whats the point

Sounds like maybe you need a math review lol

Wondering if anyone has a workaround to treat controller inputs as something that will keep the computer awake. I like to have my power settings set to timeout the screen after a short period of inactivity due to having an OLED laptop screen (minimize burn in). Problem is if I'm playing a game with a controller, it doesn't detect that as being "active" and times the screen out. Right now I just go and change the power settings every time I want to play a game with a controller, but it'd be nice if there is a proper way to recognize controller inputs as well, inputs.

From some preliminary searching it seems the problem is they likely don't present as HID devices on Linux despite doing so on w1ndows. I couldn't find a solution to that; my instincts say that would need to be fixed at the driver level but its above my pay grade.

Thanks for any tips!

OS: Nobara (Fedora) 38

Controllers tested: Xbox series X|S (wireless and wired), Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro (wireless and wired), Logitech F310 (wired)

Drivers: XOne/Xpadneo installed through Nobara welcome screen

Hey nice surprise, this release fixed my issue of all my installed GOG games showing "game unavailable" when I have my VPN connected.

KISS launcher on minimal interface with a weather widget is my favourite.

LMAO blaming the software because you're too dumb to hit Ctrl + s. Presumably you're old enough to have been taught to save often. Now maybe your daughter will learn from your fuck up and actually SAVE HER WORK.

Also she's never going to learn to type well if you just do it for her. Get her Mavis Beacon for Christmas this year and stop doing her homework for her.

Fair but thats your choice to upgrade. No one says you have to, and they don't lock games behind needing insert current gen CPU or gpu

Just go PC and don't worry about corporate lifecycles anymore

I can vouch for airvpn if any of you poor saps need to get one. I've been through several and settled on airvpn in the end.

General rule if you see YouTube sponsor ads for a VPN steer the other way. (IE Nord, Surfshark, etc.)

I have the same tablet and after installing lineageOS on it it feels like a new tablet. Maybe give that a shot before buying a new one if your main complaint is that its slow.
