Lemmy and kbin are gunna be your best option when it comes to being more reddit like. But lemmy bans just like reddit does.

More discussion topics not so much politics. Like relationships, lifestyle, am I the asshole, eli5, things like that. What i see on lemmy is mostly tech and politics. I think that can turn ppl off bc there really isn't much else to see or engage in
