Ds4windows is still useful, it certainly has a few more options then what steam has integrated and ofc works for games not associated with steam. So there's definitely still dependance on it but for games that are on steam, steams controller support is actually pretty good and has worked well for the past few years. At least is has for me, I haven't had any issues or need for Ds4windows since like 2019

Missing the dollar that fell into the couch. It may be hard to find but it is saved!

I got Rosie from an animal shelter in my town last September and she's been such an amazing girl.

She's my first ever pet and I'm so glad to have her in my life, she's already helped me immensely through some tough times. She's a little over a year and 3 months old, I got her when she was 4 months old. She came to the shelter as a stray dog from a costal community and needed a good home. I had been helping at the shelter for a couple of years by the time she came to the shelter and I absolutely fell in love with her. What set my mind to do what I could to get her is when she wouldn't listen to anyone else but came to me and sat down next to me the first time I met her.

Since then, she's been by my side and even comes with me to the shelter when I do repairs out there or lend a hand. She's become a bit of a therapy dog for the other dogs at the shelter and has made a lot of friends already!

I very rarely buy early access anymore, but the small amount that I have, I've been 9 times out of 10 happy with it. Battle it is awesome, BeamNG drive is awesome, Barotrauma is awesome. But sometimes I don't quite hit the mark but the game ends up turning out better later on like No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk. But usually, if it's from a "triple A" developer/publisher, I will not buy it in early access, those are the ones people really really need to adhere to that with.

I quite like my dog, I like cats too but I've gotten far more injuries from cats then dogs so for now I'll stick with my little girl

Rosie is her name and she says hi to everyone!

When I was using Jebora I didn't receive any notifications of comments on my first post. Not sure about direct messages but probably same thing, people just aren't being notified, they'd have to go and check.

In early May my gf of 4 years broke up with me and at the end of May she moved back to her home country. Since then I've been Doing my best to move on like seeing counselors/therapist and taking plenty of time for myself and so far most days I'm doing alright but with her gone I have a constant dread of loneliness and helplessness as right now I just don't really have any future. no goals or major wants and I'm not really sure where to go from here.

I live in a very small and technically isolated town where the only things to really do is either walk around town or go to one of the many bars. I don't drink and can't even hear in bars so that's a no go. There's a few sport things that are mainly for the kids and we'll... I'm not into sports of any sort. So my options for meeting anyone are pretty limited. As in I can either loiter at a Tim Hortons or I can spend time at the gym in town which both don't really hold much value for meeting people.

Originally, with my now ex, we had planned to move to a city where we could actually do things and have opportunities. We had been working towards it for a while and now that's completely dead in the water...

I don't really have any friends in this place and idk what else to do to meet new people since there really isn't any opportunities to do so. It's also not the easiest place to get out of because everything is marked up so far above msrp that it's a struggle to even barely survive with a well paying job. I know it's bad everywhere right now but it's especially bad here as prices are still double if not quadrupled compared to everywhere else.

So right now I have no idea what to do. I'm surviving one day at a time with my dog. I want to meet new people and get the fuck out of this town but everything has been such a dead end here that so far my one chance of hope has left me.

I want to know what others might suggest. I have Adhd and struggle with large gatherings and hearing people but I still try my best and I want to at least make a couple new friends. I just don't know how right now.
