This meshes with the news that Boeing is run by accountants, not engineers, like it used to be.

I use it for managing the RFID keyfobs for my building. I can keep copies of each apartment's fobs -- which makes it trivially easy to disable lost fobs by using the 'delete' fob, followed by the lost fob (or all of the fobs for a specific resident), then re-enable new ones.

I've also played with the NFC toys, but the built-in capabilities are rather limited. I was able to copy a RFID hotel room key (a room which I was staying in) by cracking keys with the F0 itself, which just shows how terribly weak these things are.

I haven't been able to use the SubGHz module to do anything particularly interesting aside from cloning a remote control for a fan and an LED light.

It's a neat toy, and it absolutely exposes how trivially easy it is to break access control systems.

My electric car was manufactured ONCE. It's powered by 99% green power (hydroelectric). It burns no gas/diesel, requires no oil changes. I intend on keeping it for 15+ years (my last vehicle got to 16 years before the electrical system fried).

It is better by literally every measure short of walking everywhere.

Just download Signal. Cross platform, verifably E2E, and verifiably no data collected by Open Whisper (as per their submission in a lawsuit). Also, one of the authors/architects of Signal occasionally trolls the companies that provide mobile spyware.

Anyone know why the "cat-whisker" design is the form of choice for HDTV? You wouldn't see an antenna like this for any other radio frequencies. Old TV's had rabbit ears or loops or yagis mounted on the roof... Just wondering what's special about this design, given that Over The Air HDTV is largely using similar frequencies.

No write up? No better description? No demo? No links to software repositories?

She started down the path towards being an idiot before the pandemic. Every phonecall was some new bullshit that she'd latch on to, and when I calmly tried to explain how actually worked, she'd lose her shit, scream at me, and hang up. The isolation and disinformation campaigns throughout the pandemic broke her brain.

I'm guessing that the material they're warning about would be galvanized steel. Apparently the fumes are extraordinarily toxic, and there's fuck all that can be done once you've inhaled it. Also, chemically treated steel/metals can have residue that is toxic once heated to extreme temperatures... and again, little to no treatment once you're exposed.
