Russia has provided few official casualty figures.

The most recent data from the Defense Ministry, published in January 2023, pointed to just over 6,000 deaths.

6k? Only? After 2 years of war? I kind of find that hard to believe

One can only hope that the large majority of population one day as enough of the war and forces Putin to pull out. I wonder how many young Russians actually consider NATO a threat like the boomers in that country.

Is it even possible for Russia to run out of money? If they can't pay for foreign goods, they can still print rubles for the local economy to use, can't they? They'd have to become self-sufficient. Is that something they can do?

Yes. Russia is commiting a crime. Use the money to protect those affected by that crime. It's the most logical thing to do. Are they seriously thinking of giving Russia the money back someday?
