Gentoo. I just found it a pain, from spending forever figuring why nothing would work only to realise I hadn't enabled some kernel module for my SSD to updates taking forever and completely annihilating my battery if on battery power, it just felt like more work than it was worth.

Is there a bias checker to tell me how biased mediabiasfactcheck is?

Maybe the US should start "bribing" with infrastructure projects then, I thought they were all about their soft power or whatever

Looked up one of the videos shown in that video and saw one of them was actually bold enough to add an update...

How is saying this 'China's going to collapse any second now I promise bro' is dumb being MAGAt

It also just lets you know the product exists or reminds you of it while strengthening certain associations in your brain. I know I can’t think of VPNs without thinking of NordVPN and if I were to decide I want one, I don’t think there would be a chance it didn’t at least occur to me to maybe look into

No the message to other dictators is ‘be useful to us, or else’

16 hours a day in a world where no one has to sleep seems wildly optimistic

decided to go with the unpronounceable "X" ending rather than very old and established Latina/o or Latine or even Latin@.

Latina/o and latin@ aren't really that pronounceable either outside of saying the word twice in both forms, and yet they get used a fair bit too. -x is certainly my least favourite way of doing this as well, but acting like it's some yankee imposition seems a bit dumb

I've never even seen non-Yankees using latinx

I've seen it sometimes on the Spanish-speaking internet (and of course in other situations like todxs), although a bit less than latin@
