Source that they’re pets and not cattle? My farmer friend had a pet cow; they didn’t eat that cow. They ate other cows.

You’d think eventually Israel’s enablers (us Americans, Brits, and Europeans) would realize Israel’s actions are motivating more and more war and we’d stop kowtowing to Netanyahu. Have we not already collected enough data on how effective our various munitions are at blowing off children’s limbs?

It probably won’t happen until the people who confuse Netanyahu with Anne Frank are out of power.

They employ 30,000 people. It’s only natural that after decade of abuse, at least a few will use force against the blockading super-power that periodically kills their children at random.

And Israel made allegations against 19, only 9 of whom the UN found good evidence for so there’s a better than 50-50 chance a given “Hamas” UNRWA employee is perfectly innocent. Most “western democracies” wouldn’t take a 50-50 shot at killing civilians but Israel’s so called “precision strikes” demonstrate they’re perfectly happy to murder arbitrary numbers of children in the process of killing a maybe-terrorist.

That’s fine, but I think you’ll be able to reach/influence more people with intentional source selection.

In this example, if Iran claims the UN said that, I’d still go and confirm it (which I did). If Al Jazeera or Reuters says he said it, I don’t feel the need to double check; I know they won’t flat out lie. Someone lazier than I was here might just remember this story as a “maybe” if they didn’t bother checking the source themselves.

Then use Al Jazeera. But if Trump Media tells me it’s rainy in the Pacific Northwest I’m going to have doubts, and if Iran says Israel’s doing Israel things… I’m going to have doubts.

While there’s nothing about the story that’s hard to believe given Israel’s love for genocide and harming anyone who cares about the humanity of Palestinians, can we get a source that isn’t literally Iran?

That’s one heck of a crater for a strike on tents. I’m sure they’ll release footage of the strike showing that it was secondary explosions, and not that they used enormous munitions to obliterate bodies so the reported casualty count from bodies at hospitals is lower.

My tax dollars at work, funding genocide, and nothing I can even do about it.

That’s a big crater for some tents. Does it help reduce the documented civilian body count when you just turn them entirely into mist and they become missing instead of killed?

Hey now, we’re also going to deliver another shipment of 2000lb bombs to use against civilians in tents, but with a strongly worded letter attached.

Source that the Palestinian victims of Israeli settler violence are the same ones using violent resistance against the occupation?

But per the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which has been widely adopted (and here), anti-Zionism is antisemitic. Why do you hate Jewish people?

  • Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

  • Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.

Protection? They also need reparations after this.

“Senior members of the Israeli government and military have expressed open genocidal intent, Israeli soldiers take videos deliberately burning, destroying and looting civilian property,” he wrote. “Whole streets and universities have been demolished, humanitarian aid is being blocked and civilians are regularly left with no safe quarter to flee to. Red Crescent ambulances have been attacked, schools and hospitals are regularly targeted. These are War Crimes.” He said there was “no justification for the UK's continued arms sales to Israel”.

(Israel’s influence is insane)

What followed was a wave of shooting and arson attacks across 11 Palestinian villages in which a dozen homes and more than 100 cars were torched, thousands of animals were slaughtered, four people were shot dead and scores of others were seriously wounded.

Hamas says it has launched a rocket attack towards the Tel Aviv area in central Israel for the first time in nearly four months. At least eight rockets were launched from the Rafah area in southern Gaza and several were intercepted, the Israeli military says. No injuries have been reported.

More than 800 serving officials in the US and Europe have signed a statement warning that their own governments' policies on the Israel-Gaza war could amount to "grave violations of international law".

[…]

"Israel's military operations have disregarded all important counterterrorism expertise gained since 9/11… the [military] operation has not contributed to Israel's goal of defeating Hamas and has instead strengthened the appeal of Hamas, Hezbollah and other negative actors".
