This sounds like confirmation bias. I've never heard of electric car roof leaking I don't know what you're talking about. I've had a 2018 Honda clarity for 5 years now and have had to spend virtually no money in maintenance. Best car I've ever owned for long drives especially.

I feel like everybody is missing the obvious issue here: the use of the word "revealed". Try wording it in a different way.

The speculation is that at some point in development you'd be limited in travel distance by fuel reserves and from that outposts would be vital to extend your supply lines. It was apparently just not very fun so they scrapped the need for fuel entirely and with that outposts lost their primary in game function.
I finished the latest in the series "If this Book exists you're in the wrong universe". Really fun summer time read.
