THE HERO'S LAST FLIGHT

Thursday, November 7, 2024. Noon. A routine combat mission for a combined unit of Ka-52, Mi-28NM, and Mi-8 helicopters. Nothing foreshadowed the tragedy.

The men bravely flew towards the front line, knowing that OUR GUYS were there, defending OUR RUSSIAN land and urgently needing help.

But the enemy knew. And the enemy was prepared. An almost invisible and deadly threat in the form of an FPV drone was already waiting in the air for its target.

Ambush. Impact. Explosion and mere fractions of a second for the commander to make a decision – "Take it on myself!".

Virtually invisible to the eye, the deadly threat of an FPV drone was already waiting in the air for its victim

Russian Army Loses Another Ka-52 Alligator Attack Helicopter

On the afternoon of November 7, an FPV drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a Russian Ka-52 helicopter. As a result, the aircraft commander died, but the navigator survived. This was reported today by Z-blogger Kirill Fedorov, who started a fundraiser for the pilot's family. Information about the downing of the Ka-52 first appeared last week in Z-channels associated with the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The deceased pilot's name is probably Ilya Noskov - his obituaries were published in public groups in Balakovo (Saratov Region). According to Z-blogger Fedorov, the deceased Ka-52 pilot was an orphan, he left behind a wife and a small daughter.

According to the OSINT project Oryx, Russia lost at least 62 Ka-52 helicopters during the invasion of Ukraine.

💥 ‼️ The moment of the EXPLOSION at Kurakhivska Dam: TSN EXCLUSIVE 🎥

Yesterday, water from the Kurakhiv reservoir filled the Vovcha River, towards the villages of Bogatyr, Andriivka and Oleksiivka. The local authorities assure that Kurakhovo is not threatened by water, and most of the civilians were evacuated from the villages in the affected area in advance.

The day before , enemy armored vehicles broke through to the quarters of Kurakhovo, but our soldiers burned them, and Russian infantry were destroyed by drones. In addition, the occupiers are storming the village of Sontsivka in order to break through to the highway connecting Zaporozhye. But the Defense Forces assure that Kurakhov is under the control of the Armed Forces. 🙏

The description from the source said it was injured while downing a Russian drone, but I assumed they were joking.

It's part of a terror campaign in Kherson. They've been posting videos daily of them intentionally targeting civilians, including humanitarian orgs.

The mandatory conscription for men age 18-30 only lasts one year. This can force them back into military service and be used to enhance selective enforcement against dissidents.

There are an estimated 30-40 million users is Russia, with the majority being men age 25-34. The overall goal is likely to criminalize it so they can be forced to enter military service or go to jail.

Here's the description from Telegram.
